Tahiti, the perfect getaway gem.

In 1769 Captain Cook came across an amazingly beautiful Island in the South Pacific Ocean known today as Bora Bora. This was not quite the correct name of this island because of a soft pronunciation of consonants the island inhabitants use and which characterised their social charm and hospitality. Pora Pora means first-born and is the name of that majestic ragged mountain that stems up from the perfect lagoon to form the most stunning island in the world.
A divine island set in a maze of more than a hundred that the French Tahitian Archipelagos account for in the very centre of the South Pacific Ocean. Easy to access to from all continents, Tahiti depends mainly on its tourism as income, and in that sector, they are hosts of the very best. No wonder Tahiti is renowned as; the supreme honeymoon destination!

Papeete, is the capital city, and is thereby the main arrival city for all international airlines. Probably everything for which France is renowned for will be present here, from the very best “cuisine” to the top brands of fashion, albeit with a touch of exotic connivance. This exotic concert characterises even the driving prowess of the locals in the city, facet for which the newcomer should be aware of right from the start of what is to be the perfect trip to paradise. Unique to Tahiti and the sought after prize of any jeweller’s collection are those legendary iridescent lustre of perfect black pearls that only grow in the warm lagoons of Tahiti.
Craggy mountains, white sanded beaches, effervescent sea life and to top it all off, an over-water bungalow are all ingredients for the setting of a perfect getaway, the ultimate vacation destination.

Trekking with horses into the mountains or with a four-wheel drive, taking a helicopter to explore this majestic wilderness seemingly created for the adventurous is the experience of a lifetime as no other.

Tahiti will not let you go before you have had your “Motu picnic”. As you cruise into the shallow lagoon of some uninhabited island, tables and chairs will be set in two feet of water and there is where you will relish that special picnic surrounded by a magnificent setting not found anywhere else in the world.
